From the “best of the best” recordings, the engineer’s choice of sound was then electronically transferred to a state of the art microprocessor imbedded within the KrackleBox and its uniquely designed amplifier. A high quality speaker was added, along with a volume control. And lastly, a high quality circuit board was incorporated within the KrackleBox, thus offering unparalleled reliability and product durability. The result: Real “crackling fire” sounds from the one and only KrackleBox.
You have two options. Both a 9-volt battery and a UL certified power adapter for 120 volt household plug-in are provided as part of the KrackleBox fireplace sound system. We have made it easy for you to enjoy the realism of KrackleBox fireplace sounds whenever, and however. Your choice.

No…and this is important. The KrackleBox has been designed to be located and operated only outside the fireplace, away from any heat that may impact negatively the unit’s casing, circuitry and battery. Exposure to heat will cause a battery to explode.

Indeed you can. Every KrackleBox has a separate volume control that will allow you to set precisely the acoustic experience you want. As an option, for even more enjoyment easily connect the KrackleBox (a cable is now even provided!) to a separate amplifier system for a total room experience. The KrackleBox experience is better than a live fireplace!
